According to Reuters, prosecutors from the Department of Justice’s Southern District of New York opened an investigation into the collapse of cryptocurrency exchange FTX. After a failed rescue effort with Binance, FTX was eventually defunct. The Manhattan attorney’s office is investigating the handling of customer funds.
