Sam Bankman-Fried, former CEO of FTX, pleads not guilty to criminal charges. Bond signees’ names remain sealed

 

Sam Bankman-Fried, former CEO of FTX, pleaded not guilty on Jan. 3, 2023 to eight criminal charges. These include two counts of wire fraud as well as six counts of conspiracy. Lewis Kaplan, the judge of SBF, granted the defendant’s request for the release of the names and bonds signees worth $250 million.
