According to Reuters, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York will launch a 12-week pilot program for digital dollars with global banking giants on Tuesday. Citigroup Inc., HSBC Holdings Plc. Mastercard Inc. and Wells Fargo & Co. are some of the financial institutions participating in the experiment along with the New York Fed.
